Prices

We will make you an offer as soon as we’ve found your book. The price will naturally be dependent on the condition, edition, rarity and value of the book.

As a rough guide paperback prices usually range between £10 and £30, hardbacks between £15 and £40. Rare and collectable books, some first editions and sets may cost considerably more.

We find a large proportion of books overseas and all prices are inclusive of postage charges, inland and airmail.

Any sets or heavy books may incur a further charge of which you will be notified prior to shipping.

You are under no obligation whatsoever to accept the offer

Your Response

Once you’ve received our offer and decided to accept, please respond as quickly as possible.We recommend a phone call or fax or email. The reason for this is that many of our dealers do not reserve books and first come, first served remains the necessary operating principle of the second-hand book trade.

Payment Details

You can make your payment either by credit/debit card, sterling cheque or postal order. Our offer will specify price and payee information. We do not accept American Express, Diners Club, Eurocheques or cheques drawn on any overseas bank.

Delivery

The book will be despatched directly to you at the address given on your request form. Please contact us if you wish it to be sent elsewhere.

Delivery will be within a week to ten days for books found in the UK and within two to three weeks for those located abroad.
